The best way to take control of your finances and have financial confidence is to be organized. You can do this with the help of a trusted partner who has the resources and knowledge to develop a financial plan that fits your life goals. After we get to know you, we can develop a dynamic plan that will meet your immediate needs while adjusting for changes in your life down the road.

The Walk Around

This is the first part of establishing a fruitful partnership. In this phase we will identify your values, goals, priorities, preferences, as well as potential obstacles. Along with this, we will mutually establish what your expectations are for us and whether an ongoing partnership is the right fit.

Pre-Flight Planning

Based on our initial meeting, we’ll begin work gathering the specifics. We will explore the details of your compensation, assets, liabilities, insurance, and savings. During this session we can begin to sketch a preliminary plan as we engage in a more comprehensive discussion about your life’s goals. The more open this phase is, the more thorough and helpful your plan will be.

Cleared For Take-off

Let’s review your plan. We will deliver an easy to understand financial plan with the right investments that fit your life goals. Your plan will specifically address the areas that are most important to you. Upon review, we will make any necessary adjustments and provide you with a summary and list of recommendations. You will also receive a checklist of prioritized action items for implementation.

Implementation Meetings - Climb Out

This is where the action happens, and changes are made. We will be with you each step of the way. This may include joint calls to other firms, joint meetings with your other professional advisors (CPA, Attorney etc...) or family members. Depending on the level of complexity, multiple implementation meetings may be required. In this case we will schedule regular meetings as we work through each action item until the plan implementation is complete.

Ongoing Planning - Flight Following

You will receive personal attention with regular communication on an ongoing basis. From year 2 and on we will conduct Spring and Fall review meetings. We will meet to incorporate recent life changes into your plan, and to celebrate your progress. You can always schedule additional meetings as needed and leverage email and phone support for accountability, guidance, updates, or ad-hoc planning questions.
